Jasmine Garcia (b. 1999, Columbia MD; lives and works in Washington D.C.) is a dedicated and passionate artist specializing in painting and drawing, with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to continuous artistic growth. She’s experienced in studio management, assistantships, and exhibitions, with excellent organizational and creative problem-solving skills. Her work bridges the realms of realism and abstraction, portraiture and landscape, crafting a dialogue between the microscopic and the vast. It reimagines the skin as a landscape, where its textures and colors evolve into fantastical terrains reminiscent of the natural environment.

She received her B.F.A in Studio Art at the University of Maryland where she was accepted into the Honors Art Program and received the CAPA (Creative and Performing Arts) scholarship.
